House Of Fraser | Rushden Lakes

Rushden Lakes is quickly becoming my favourite place to shop locally and with the NEW addition of House Of Fraser it’s even better!

This NEW House of Fraser store was the first to open in nearly nine years and it’s located in with stunning surrounding of Rushden Lakes. It’s nice to see the store are working together with the Wildlife trust to meet high environment standards and protect the beautiful natural setting that surrounds the shop. The store itself is STUNNING, one thing that really stood out to me was the living wall spanning over two floors positioned next to escalators which is home to over 2,000 indoor plants with a lovely array of birds made from all recycled materials.

I was delighted to see a Pan N Ice in action, I’ve seen so many videos on Instagram so to see up close and personal and tasting it was even better! I sampled the Eton mess flavour and oh my I love Ice cream and this technique is just beautiful. You need to give it a WHIRL.
The amount and variation of makeup brands are really great as I wanted to get a hold of some new makeup and what better was to shop around when it’s all in one place.  With brands such as Benefit, Bobbi Brown, MAC, Nars, Stilia, Urban Decay and many more.
What I really liked is each makeup department consisted a range of products and also areas for you to sit and try the makeup out. We were greeted everywhere we went and the staff were super helpful at guiding me in the right direction of which products to look at and also dedicated their time to apply all the products I was interested in to see which I have a post all about which I will post soon in regards to being a complete novice when it comes to makeup.
The store also features various brands for clothing, accessories, homeware and also as a Hamley’s section, brilliant for anyone with children to explore.
With a store this big there are Cafe and Dining experiences on the ground and first floor. On the First floor there is a Champagne bar called Eden and a Caffè Nero on the ground floor where we enjoyed a cappuccino and a chai latte whilst admiring the view of the lake right outside our window. Jayne also got us some chocolate covered coffee beans to try and I need more in my life they are AMAZING.
I wanted to say a big thank you for inviting me along to the opening and what a great day myself and one of my best friends had exploring the shop .
I can’t wait to visit the store again, especially at Christmas time!
*I was invited to the opening of the House Of Fraser store at Rushden lake and given vouchers to explore the store, all opinions are my own*
