I’ve seen many Bloggers and influencers use Linktree for the ease of access to link multiple links from your Instagram bio. With a limit of one only ONE link from your Instagram having a landing page is amazing as you can link all of your social media presence and make it much more personalised.
So if you fancy an Instagram landing page of your own which is directly from your own site then follow my how to guide, it’s really quite simple!
Firstly I run my blog on WordPress so this guide will only work if you also have a WordPress blog.

I installed two new plugins to make my Instagram landing page. MaxButtons and Blank slate which are both free. Overall these plugins made the page easier to create with the Blank slate plugin giving an instant blank page for you to add what you want to be seen without the rest of your blog being insight. MaxButtons also made it that much easier when it came to customisation and coding for the novice like myself.

Before I went ahead and created my page I set up my MaxButtons. All you need to do is create as many buttons you desire an edit the Button name ,add in your URL links and choose what colours you want. This is how I set up mine, they are fairly simple as I went for black and white.

Time to set up your Instagram landing page
Create a new page, I called mine “Links” but you can call it whatever you like. Make sure you set your template to blank slate and your ready to get creative.

I started of by adding my picture and sized it to be a thumbnail which makes it perfect for mobile viewing. Using Photoshop I made my picture circular but again it’s your page so YOU DO YOU. If you want a rectangle, square or even just your blog logo then go for it.

Now you can add in your MaxButtons which you created earlier. It’s a simple as adding the shortcodes into your page! All you need to do is copy and paste the codes from the buttons you want to feature and it’s as Easy as 1,2,3. What I also like about Maxbuttons is you can edit any existing buttons to quickly change the URL which will be perfect for my “Read My Latest Post” button.

Don’t forget those social media icons
This is completely optional but I just wanted my page to have everything there for my followers to be able to quickly navigate to my blog and to all my social media platforms. For this I used my Simple Social Icons widget (you might have a slightly different widget which displays your social media icons but any will work) To be able to add a widget to a page you need to download yet another free widget called Widgets On Pages which worked wonders for what I wanted to achieve.

Once I had installed Widget on Pages I added my Simple Social Icons by drag and dropping and linked all my social media links. Like the buttons all we need to add this feature to our page is to simple copy and paste the shortcode and BAM your page is ready to go!

So there you have it a guide to making your own Instagram landing page. If you do make one yourself I would love to see how it turns out, it can be as simple or as complex as you like. I added a touch of my palm tree branding to the bottom of mind to make it fit with my blog aesthetics and I couldn’t be happier!
*I am not affiliated with any of the plugins mentioned they are all plugins I used for my own personal reasons*
First off, your blog is gorgeous! Second, how cool is this Instagram landing page creation! So smart!

It’s quite easy once you know what to do, hoping my guide will help others give it a go x
This is so useful and explained in a such a simple way, thank you! I hope you don’t mind me asking, but do you think this has benefitted your blog at all? I’m always worried that people will click on the link but then won’t be bothered to click on the next one. I’m probably being paranoid though! X
