I used to shy away from telling people about my blog.
Some people just don’t understand or kind of judge, well I feel like they are anyway? To me blogging is yes a Hobby as I unfortunately don’t earn money from it but that’s ok. I feel like blogging has helped me build my confidence in writing and in loving myself.
I’ve heard things such as bloggers are only in it for the “free stuff” this is by no means true. Yes companies may like to give us samples of their product but in exchange for this we spend our personal time writing and promoting this said product. I have been lucky enough to work with some amazing brands but seriously it’s 2017 blogging is more than the freebies!
The blogging community is inspiring and I am so glad to be a part of it all, some of my best friendships have been made through Twitter. It’s opened my eyes to lovely bloggers in my home town of Northampton and we have been meeting up quite a bit which is the best. It feels like we have all known each other forever.
I should be able to sing my own praises with my blog and it’s social media presence. Blogging is my little comfort, my bubble from the world when I need it to be. Blogging on the go is also a great thing, I find my inspirations at the most bizarre times so having notes on my phone is so helpful to note all those thoughts in the moment. It’s a great way to show your creativity and it’s got me back into my bubble of love for photography, I love how one photo can speak a thousand words.
Twitter is by far my favourite social media platform, the friends and support I have over on there is just overwhelming, but in a good way. I feel like sometimes we are a big supportive family.
When it comes to blogging I feel like there is no correct way of doing it, you need to be yourself. Having your own unique perspective out there is what makes your blog unique. It’s a nice way to let people see the world from your point of view.
